About Us
We are an Australian family owned and operated business in Central Gippsland, Victoria, which is where this venture began. Our picturesque property, running along the Thomson River, has been in our family for four generations. Our daughter Belinda, husband Ben and two grandchildren, 5th and 6th generations, love living and working on the family farm also. Our daughter Belinda is also working the Family Farmed Meats business, selling online and at various Farmers' Markets in and around Melbourne.
Raising healthy, quiet, and stress free cattle is very important to us. We believe giving our cattle a good quality of life where they are free to graze contentedly, on good pasture, in a happy environment, leads to quality meat. All cattle work is done by family members, so quiet handling of stock is assured. Being a river property, shelter for cattle is in abundance in winter, with plenty of shade and water in summer.
The reason our family decided to sell beef direct to you, the consumer, online and at Farmers Markets, is to receive a fairer price for all our hard work, plus the added bonus of building relationships with you our valued customers.
Our business is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance, and we are committed to meeting those needs.

I would like to thank all our regular customers that support us at the markets and online. At 15 months old our small venture has really taking off so much so that we are now having the great opportunity in helping out our fellow farming neighbours with buying their grass fed lamb from them direct for a much better price than they would otherwise receive. This way we are able to provide endless great quality meat to our customers and support local farming families.
I would also like to thank all our backpackers they are all a fantastic help around the farm and at the markets, our customers love hearing all the different accents and about where they have been and where they are going next.
Thanks to my husband and two children Abergail and William for their support and letting me go to Melbourne each weekend for our markets and deliveries.
